Starting on April 7th, crews will work their way through the City of New Philadelphia to perform hydrant flushing.
The nightly flushing is expected to last about seven days and will be conducted from 10pm to 6am.
Service Director Ron McAbier says dirty tap water can be associated with this and residents should run cold water until it clears up, which can take up to 20 minutes.
“When we start out, we do the whole south side from Mill Avenue all the way down to the dog park area.”
