There’s a fundraiser coming up for the splash pad that’s going in at Cy Young Park.
Village of Newcomerstown Mayor Pat Cadle says the Moonlyterz will headline the March 1st event at the Newcomerstown Elks Lodge.
Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased through a link on the park’s Facebook page.
The splash pad itself is fully funded but another $20,000 is needed for fencing, sidewalk, and flooring.
The splash pad will go next to the pool.
Cadle says the goal is to have it installed and ready for use by this summer.
