The Cambridge Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash involving a Newcomerstown man.
According to a release, on Tuesday, troopers responded just before 3am to Natural Resources Road in Jefferson Township.
An investigation determined that Jonathan Kuczmarski was in a 2005 Ford Mustang and failed to negotiate a curve. He traveled off the left side of the road, hitting a stop sign and embankment. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A passenger, also from Newcomerstown, was flown by MedFlight to Akron City Hospital.
The patrol is still investigating, but they remind drivers to not operate a vehicle while impaired.
