Nick McWilliams reporting – Community members can visit the Newcomerstown Senior Center as they host their first open house on May 20th.
The open house is scheduled from Friday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. with the chance to tour the facility, door prize opportunities, and light refreshments.
The center has activities that include crafts, Bible study, cards, and Bingo.
Incorporated as a part of the Tuscarawas County Senior Center as a satellite location, the center on Bridge Street is open from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. from Monday through Thursday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Membership dues are $5 per year, with daily lunches available for $4 which can be ordered the day before by calling (740) 498-4523.
