A non-profit behavioral health center wants young people to know about the free support services available in the wake of recent tragedies in our communities.

Ohio Guidestones Director of Children and Youth Services Brandi Ankrom says there is a free, mobile response service aimed at helping those 20 and younger experiencing mental, emotional or behavioral distress.

MRSS will travel to homes, schools, parks or anywhere that family members feel is appropriate.

Dover school officials say a 10th-grade student died unexpectedly on Tuesday. School and community based counselors have been on site. This is the second time this school year that Dover High School students have lost a classmate.

Anyone can connect with MRSS and other support services, call or text 988 – the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline available 24/7.
