Nick McWilliams reporting – A few days remain for nominations to be submitted for the Tuscarawas County Convention and Visitors Bureau awards.

All nominations are due Wednesday, November 22nd.

The Tourism Ambassador Award is given each year to recognize volunteers or paid professionals, and individuals or groups who exemplify the vision of “extraordinary leadership and service” when it comes to promoting the county as a tourist destination and desirable location.

Additionally, a new award will be distributed, with the Excellence in Hospitality award.

The recognition will be for nominees who exhibit dedication to customer service and commitment to serving their community and its visitors.

The business or worker recognized will go above and beyond to ensure a quality guest experience.

Awards will be given out during the CVB open house on December 13th.
