Nick McWilliams – A northwestern Tuscarawas County nature area is seeking volunteers to serve on its board.
The Norma Johnson Center is seeking community members who are passionate about nature to apply to serve on with the NJC Foundation.
A part of TuscParks, the center is open seven days a week, and features over 300 acres of land with hiking trails, bird viewing opportunities, and ponds.
Board members work closely with TuscParks leadership to establish projects to improve the center, along with helping with fundraising opportunities, and assisting with events.
To be eligible, applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
Board positions last for three years, with monthly meetings held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 5 p.m.
