Norman D. “Jake” Brookover, 87, of Kimbolton, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023, at his home. Jake was born in Fairview, WV to the late Jacob Brookover and Helen (Toothman) Brookover. He owned and operated a motorcycle dealership. On December 24, 1957, Jake married his wife, Sue (Walker) Brookover, who survives. He loved cutting grass, riding the motorcycle, fishing, hunting, watching football and his dogs. He also enjoyed his yearly fishing trip to Canada. He is also survived by his sister, Alberta Toothman of Farmington, WV; sister-in-law, Carol Brookover of Kimbolton; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Marion and Albert Brookover; sister, Shirley Moore; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Walker. Private family services will be held.
