Norman Patrick Shipp, 47, of Uhrichsville, Ohio, passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, March 4, 2024. Born May 7, 1976 in Salt Lake City, Utah, he was the son of the late Marion James and Linda Lee (Farmer) Shipp. A Twin City resident for the past 15 years, Norman had previously lived in Salt Lake City where he had been baptized as a child of God in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was an avid gamer and also enjoyed working on cars.
On March 11, 2008, Norman married Sandra Lynn (Abel) Mansfield Shipp who survives him at their home that they share with his mother-in-law, Georgia Abel. He is also survived by his sister, Tammy Barney; nieces, Jennifer and April Barney; nephew, Derek Barney; step children, Dustin, Thomas, and Shawn Mansfield; and step grandchildren, Axell, Monte, and Malibu. In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Roger Barney.
According to Norman’s wishes, cremation is planned without a public visitation or service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Twin City Christian Service Center Food Pantry, 109 N. Water St., Uhrichsville, OH 44683.
