The Ohio Department of Transportation is asking for the cooperation of drivers in identifying potholes that have been developing.
District 11 Public Information Officer Lauren Borell says the fluctuating temperatures over the past week have had their crews making the transition from clearing roads to pathing them around the county. For pothole patching on the interstate, they use a dura-patcher with a rolling work zone that traffic can get around.
But Borell says pothole patching on other roads can require lane restrictions or closures with flaggers directing traffic.
People can report potholes needing attention at www.transportation.ohio.gov.
