Participants in the Tuscarawas County Literacy Coalition’s One Book One Community program will get to interact with this year’s author tonight.

There have been discussion groups and other activities centered around this year’s book, “Things Seen from Above.”

The final culminating event is tonight at 7 at Kent Tusc Founders Hall with its author, Shelley Pearsall.

Dover public library director Jim Gill says Pearsall won’t be there because she now lives in Scotland, but she’ll be appearing over zoom.

Gill says the book is geared toward middle schoolers, but older age groups have enjoyed it.

The coalition tonight will also announce the winners for its writing and art contests tied into this year’s program.
