Open Council Seats in Uhrichsville, Newcomerstown

Newcomerstown and Uhrichsville residents interested in serving their community have a chance to sit on council.

In the two communities, a seat is becoming vacant, and resumes are being accepted by the mayors.

For the Village of Newcomerstown, the council seat is open to interested citizens, who live in the corporation limits. A letter of interest and resume can be sent to the Mayor’s Office at 308 S. College Street, by Friday, December 29^th. A decision will be made prior to council’s January 2^nd meeting.

Over to the City of Uhrichsville, At-Large councilwoman Wendy Mann issued her resignation effective immediately, as of December 18^th. She cited the need to step away due to her healthcare career. Mann was elected as an Independent and Mayor Mark Haney is taking inquires to interview candidates to fill the position. Those interested can email Haney at mhaney@cityofuhrichsville.org.
