Mary Alice Reporting – The Deputy Director at the Tuscarawas Elections Board has completed courses to receive a certification.
Brian Swartzwelder was part of a series of courses where five must be completed before the participants enroll in a graduate course every three years.
He completed the required number and Swartzwelder was certified as an Ohio Registered Election Official (OREO).
According to a release, the Ohio Association of Election Officials knows the importance for all state election officials to receive continuing education for improving skills and staying on the cutting edge of elections administration.
