Nick McWilliams reporting – The Ohio State Alumni Club of Tuscarawas County is set to welcome in wide receiver turned coach Devin Jordan.

Featuring as a guest prior to their upcoming meeting on May 18th at 6 p.m., Jordan will discuss his playing career, coaching journey, as well as his non-profit Beyond the Game.

After graduating from Massillon-Washington in 2003, Jordan joined the Buckeyes in 2004, but suffered a serious leg injury that effectively ended his playing career.

He stayed with Ohio State as a student coach, before making stops at Wittenberg, Otterbein, Malone, Youngstown State, and Akron, before making his return to Columbus in January.

Jordan’s non-profit focuses on teaching young athletes the importance of utilizing sports as a way to earn an education and set up success for their future, and holds camps to mentor both boys and girls.

The event will be at Factory Street Pub and Grill in Dover, and proceeds raised from a raffle will go back to Beyond the Game.
