Pablo Figueroa Jr., age 60, of Dennison, OH., passed away unexpectedly at his residence on July 5, 2024.

Pablo was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 12, 1963, the son of Rev. Pablo Figueroa Sr. and Rev. Persida (Diaz) Figueroa.

He graduated from McCaskey High School in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and served in the United States Marines. He was a self-employed semi driver and the owner operator and driver of PF Express for 25 years until his retirement in 2019.

Pablo “Rico Keys” was an amazing musician.  He loved to play keyboards/piano and was very talented.  He played over 22 instruments. He loved DJing and playing in a band. Rico was passionate about riding motorcycles with friends all over the country. He was a skilled poker player. If you knew Rico you knew you were always laughing and never went without.  He also owned Figueroa Construction, a successful business in the 90’s. He was a loving son, brother and father and loved the Lord.  Rev. Pablo and Rev. Persida Figueroa had always admired Paul’s sense of humor. He always remained positive no matter how negative the circumstances, Paul always had a joke to make you smile and laugh.  His positive spirit was contagious.

Evelyn “Bunches” surviving daughter and Dom Pablo Figueroa-Meechan (grandson) remember when abuelo would visit our home to spend time with his grandson. On the way to leave he would always yell “LUV YOU” in a funny loud voice as he was driving away, Dom would scream “LUV YOU”. Again and again they would yell this back and forth until you couldn’t hear dad anymore blocks away.  Fond memory shared between grandson and gpa.  My dad always said, “You can choose to laugh or cry…I choose to laugh”.

Pablo is survived by his parents Rev. Pablo Figueroa Sr. and Persida Diaz Figueroa; his daughter Evelyn R. Figueroa of Uhrichsville; siblings Meraris Figueroa and Deborah Torrijos and one grandson Dom Pablo Figueroa-Meechan.

He was preceded in death by a son Pablo Figueroa III.
