Patricia Anne Deibel, 83, of Bolivar passed away at the Cleveland Clinic Mercy Medical Center in Canton on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.

Born on June 7, 1939, in Mineral City, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Helen (Ruszin) Holcomb.

Pat was a 1957 graduate of Dover High School.  She worked at the Times-Reporter, owned her own bakery, “Sugar & Spice” in Strasburg, and retired as a hostess from the former Pro’s Table Restaurant in New Philadelphia.

She is survived by her daughter Connie (Swihart) Bowen of Sugarcreek; son Robert E. Swihart, Jr.; grandsons Travis (Amanda) Troyer and Alex (Marie) Troyer; four great grandchildren Lola Troyer, Hagen Troyer, Warren and Claire Troyer; several cousins; and her companion Joe Reese of Bolivar.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert E. Swihart; her second husband, Dale G. Deibel; grandparents Andrew and Mary Ruszin; mother Helen (Ruszin) Holcomb; stepfather Jack Holcomb; daughter Kimberly Renee (Swihart) Troyer; stepson Steve Deibel; son-in-law Patrick Bowen; grandsons Dustin Swihart and Bryan Deibel; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  

In honoring Pat’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or service.
