Patsy Ruth Smith, 82, of Newcomerstown, Ohio, passed away on September 12, 2022, in New Philadelphia, OH. She was born July 16, 1940, in Joy, OH to the late Earl D. and Esther F. (Duncan) Ahle.
Patsy graduated from Newcomerstown High School in 1958, and she worked for Kurz-Kasch for 34 years. Patsy attended the First Baptist Church in Port Washington, and she was a member of the USW Local 667 and the Newcomerstown American Legion. She enjoyed fishing and bowling.
Patsy is survived by her children, Tracy Smith of New Philadelphia, Timothy Smith of Uhrichsville; special niece, Kelly Campbell of Newcomerstown; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Booker Atkins of New Philadelphia, Frank Stull of Port Washington, Karen, Connie, and Julie.
Along with her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her siblings, Wendell Ahle and Eleanor Kelly.
Services for Patsy Smith will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Addy Funeral Home, with Pastor Jimmy Stull officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Cemetery in Newcomerstown. Visitation will take place at 12:30 PM, prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice Truman House, 716 Commercial Ave SW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
