Paul Lynch II, 61, of Dennison died Wednesday morning December 31, 2025, at Community Hospice Truman House, due to complications of pulmonary fibrosis. He was fortunate to have his family with him in his last moments.
Born April 2, 1964, at Union Hospital in Dover, Paul was the son of the late Paul and Minnie (Yoakem) Lynch I. He played basketball for and graduated from Claymont High School, class of 1982 and attended Kent State Tuscarawas Campus, where he also played on the basketball team. After college, Paul played flag football for five years on the team known as the Young Bloods. In his free time, Paul enjoyed golfing, fishing, coaching youth sports, playing softball for Allied Machine, and never missing any Indian Valley sporting events that his grandchildren were involved in.
Thirty-eight years ago, Paul began working for Allied Machine and Engineering and eventually became an Abrasive Specialist.
Surviving are Paul’s wife, Kathy (Galanga) Lynch of the home, two sons: Tony (Rachelle) Lynch of Gnadenhutten, and Chad (Chrissy) Lynch of Uhrichsville, grandchildren: Lauryn (boyfriend Cam Guspyt), Braxton, Connor, and Mason Lynch, niece Rachel (Krista) Hartsough, two brothers, sister-in-law Brenda (Jim) Donovan, and his beloved dogs: Maggie, Lucy, and JuJu.
Along with his parents, Paul is preceded in death by one brother.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026, from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Koch Funeral Home of Gnadenhutten, 244 N. Walnut St., 44629. At Paul and the family’s request, please wear your favorite school or team’s sports attire. Memorial contributions may be made to Indian Valley Athletic Boosters, PO Box 664, Gnadenhutten, Ohio 44629, in hopes of helping the student athletes with a scholarship
