Paul Oklen Stull, III, 73, of Dennison, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, after battling Covid-19. Born October 28, 1948 in Dennison, he was a son of the late Paul Oklen Stull, Jr. and Elizabeth Ellen “Betty” (Renicker) Stull.

Paul was a lifelong Twin City resident and 1968 graduate of St. Mary’s High School. He was employed by Superior Clay in Uhrichsville for 33 years before working for Count Electronics until his retirement in 2010. He loved all kinds of sports, was an avid bowler, raced at Midvale Speedway, and played softball, baseball, basketball, and semi-pro football in his younger years.

He is survived by his son, Paul Michael Stull; grandchildren, Remington and Oklen Huff; stepchildren, Mike Laizure, Barry Laizure, Sandra Page, and Chad Witham; aunt, Joy Stull; uncle, Kenneth Morrison; many cousins; his companion of more than 20 years, Barbara Laizure; and former spouse, Brenda Stull. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his aunts and uncles, Richard Sr. and Elaine Stull, Robert Stull, Ruth Klaserner, Shirley and Donald Garrett, Ped and Delmar Clark, and Diana Morrison.

According to his wishes, cremation is planned without a public visitation. A celebration of his life is planned for a future date, and this website will be updated when details are confirmed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
