A 69-year-old of Dover resident passes away from injuries sustained in a Monday evening accident.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s New Philadelphia Post reports that shortly after 6pm, they were called to the intersection of N. Wooster Avenue and Karle Alley, in the City of Dover.
The investigation found that a van, operated by an 80-year-old of Dover, was northbound in the right lane. The pedestrian, Kathy Fruchey, of Dover, was also in the right lane of N. Wooster and she was struck.
She was taken first to Union Hospital before being flown to Akron Summa, where she was pronounced deceased.
