Peggy L. Milburn, 76, of Gnadenhutten, Ohio passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023, at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Born August 11, 1947, in Dennison, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Spencer Sherman Lake.
On September 18, 1964, Peggy married Melvin Foster Milburn with whom she enjoyed over 46 years of marriage until his passing on February 16, 2001. They are survived by three children, Deborah Sue (Scott) Benish, Christina Ann (companion, Michael Mason) Milburn, and Gregory Alan (Tralawnee) Milburn; and grandchildren, Spencer, Gavin, and Madison Milburn. Peggy is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Ginny and Jimmy Armstrong, as well as several nieces and nephews.
As a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker, Peggy devoted her entire life to her family. She dearly loved her grandchildren, and she would tell anyone who would listen just how much she loved her family and cherished the time that she spent with them. She also enjoyed seeking out treasures and bargains at garage sales whenever she got the chance.
In keeping with Peggy’s wishes, cremation is planned. She will be interred beside her beloved husband in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery with a private, family graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
