Phillip R. Trimble, 75, of Stone Creek, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. 

Born in Cleveland, He was the son of the late Lindon R. and Alice B. (Goodwin) Trimble and was a graduate of Max S. Hayes High School. Phillip had worked as an Iron Worker and following his retirement, he began his second career as a truck driver for Consolidated Freight Company. In his spare time, Phillip could often be found riding his Harley or repairing small engines. He had a great love for Betty Boop, was extremely knowledgeable about a lot of things and his great sense of humor will be missed.

Surviving is his wife, Margie L. (Wilkinson) Trimble of the residence; a daughter, Stephanie (Bernard) Gobrogge of Tallmadge; sons, Kristopher Henderson of Ravenna, Gene (Autumn) Trimble of Tennessee two sisters, Marcia Trimble of Cleveland and Donna McClain of Dallas, Texas; a brother, Kenneth (Barbara) Trimble of Homersville and numerous grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Phillip was preceded in death by a sister, Patty Velez and a brother, Roger Trimble.

In keeping with his wishes, Phillip is to be cremated through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia and the family will host a celebration of Phillip’s life later this year.
