Pick-up Times Announced for Dress-A-Child Awardees

Clothing gift cards will be available for families whose applications were approved for Dress-A-Child.

Over 500 submissions were turned in for 2024, some did not meet the qualifications, but overall, 980 children will benefit from the program.

Co-chair Brenda Jenkins says approved applicants can pick-up their gift cards on August 14^th at the Tuscarawas County Public Library from 1:30 to 4pm and from 6 to 7:45pm, or at Dover Public Library from noon to 3pm or 4:30 to 6:30pm on August 15^th.

“They should bring a phot ID that matches the name that they have on the application.”

The dollar amount on the individual cards is based upon donations given to Dress-A-Child.

“Basically, we take what money we have, we divide it by the number of children, and then we come up with the gift card amount.”
