Other primary election results from Tuesday included several local renewals.
Among them was a fire levy and ambulance services renewal for the city of Uhrichsville. A majority, 76%, said yes.
Bolivar’s police protect levy saw a landslide vote, 77%, for the issue.
An additional levy for fire service for Dover Township and Village of Parral narrowly failed.52% of voters were against the issue which would have raised additional dollars for the Dover Fire Department to provide fire and EMS services.
Meanwhile, Mineral City’s income tax increase was voted down by almost 73%.
Other election issues being approved, according to preliminary data, were Fire and EMS renewals for Lawrence and Sugarcreek Townships, the Union Cemetery Levy, and the renewal for Gnadenhutten Public Library.
All results are unofficial until certification.
