Property Tax Renewals on Primary Ballot

Voters in certain precincts will see two property tax renewals and an additional issue on the primary ballot.

The property tax for Newcomerstown Exempted Village School District is for 4.6 mills for five years. The reason for the renewal is providing for the school’s emergency requirements.

Another property tax renewal is for Joint Union Cemetery. The renewal for 1 mills for five years is for operating and maintaining union cemetery.

As both property taxes are renewals, there will not be in increase in amount paid.

A property tax for an additional 2 mills is for the Tri-County Joint Ambulance District for operating expenses.
