A permit-to-install has been filed to expand a landfill on State Route 39 and the public is invited to a January 31st meeting.
If approved, the permit will allow the Kimble Companies to expand their Sanitary Landfill, both vertically and horizontally. This would increase the cubic yards from 47 million to 65.8 million, expanding the landfill by 23.3 acres.
The informational session and public hearing will be held at 6pm, at the Dover Public library’s community room, located at 525 North Walnut Street.
