The Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District says Tappan Lake Park will soon have Wi-Fi capability by the end of May.

Communications and Marketing Director Adria Bergeron says this is in line with the district making improvements at their parks.

“If you need access to the internet whether it’s because you want to stream anything or you want to stay connected while you’re disconnecting, you now have that availability to do so. You can work from the campgrounds. We have some people who vacation, and they can work from anywhere. We’re really excited to offer that.”

Wi-Fi will be available for registered campers and day-use park guests

Tappan Lake, in Harrison County, remains a popular destination for camping, boating, and other family-friendly outdoor recreation.

Atwood Lake Park also has free public Wi-Fi, which became available last year.
