Raimilene Kaye Stein, 77, of Dover and formerly of Sugarcreek passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at the Hospice Truman House following a 2-year illness.
She was born at Massillon City Hospital to Raymond and Mildred Klein Warstler on May 12, 1945. She graduated from Baltic High School and married Dale E. Stein on March 28, 1965.
Raimilene is a member of the Sugarcreek United Methodist Church and worked part-time as a bookkeeper for Sugarcreek Interiors before caring for her grandchildren. She enjoyed attending to her children’s and grandchildren’s school and sports activities. She also enjoyed many vacations together with the family.
In addition to her husband, Dale, she is survived by her 2 daughters, Kelly (JT) Luneborg of Sugarcreek and Kristen (Josh) McCrea of Canal Winchester; 4 grandchildren-Allison and Taylor Luneborg, and Kendal and Finnegan McCrea; and a sister Christine Travis of Sugarcreek, along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her daughter, Dalene, in-laws, William and Matilda Stein; brothers-in-law, Keith Travis, Welton (Cathleen), Russell (Dorothy), and Elmer (Theresa) Stein.
Services will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022, at 11 AM at Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek with Rev. Bill Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home and on Friday from 10-11 prior to services.
