Randy L. Freed, 57, of Uhrichsville, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022, in Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia, following a one-year battle with cancer.
Born at Dover, Randy was the son of the late Cloyd L. and Marjorie (Lamb) Freed. A 1984 graduate of Dover High School, he was employed as a Press Operator for Robin Industries in Berlin before his illness forced him to retire. In his spare time, Randy enjoyed building models of cars and never met a dog that he did not want to pet. He also loved setting off fireworks on the Fourth of July and sitting around bonfires with his friends.
Randy is survived by his three brothers, David Freed and his fiancée, Bonnie Fair of Uhrichsville, Donald “Bones” (Tammy) Freed of Dover, and Larry (Linda) Freed of Delroy; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022, beginning at 1:30 PM with Pastor Brian Flood officiating. Burial will follow in Dover Burial Park at Dover. Visitation will be held Friday from 12:30 PM until the time of the service.
