Reba E. Pringle, 86, of Austintown, Ohio, and a former Dover resident died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023, in the Victoria House in Austintown.

She retired from the former Big Bear Store in New Philadelphia where she was the frozen food manager for 25 years.

Born Sept. 13, 1936, in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Newton and Mollie (Grinder) Harder. In addition to her parents, Reba was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Pringle who died on October. 26, 2016. They were married on Dec. 1, 1956. She was also preceded by two brothers, Ralph and Kenneth Harder, and three sisters, Jean Lagatta, Lois Jane Recchiuti, and Kathleen Easlick.

Reba was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Dover. She was also a member of the Dover Moose and the Dover VFW Auxiliaries. In her earlier years, she enjoyed the game of golf.

She will be sadly missed by her three children, Randy (Debbie) Pringle of Austintown, Patty (Barry) Pringle-Roberts of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Kenneth (Joan) Pringle of Rootstown, Ohio along with six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Pastor Wesley George will officiate services on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023, beginning at 1 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory at Dover. Interment will follow in the Dover Burial Park. Reba’s family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 am to 1 pm.
