Rebecca I. Miller, 66, of Sugarcreek, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her family, following a long battle with cancer.

She was born in Washington, Iowa on November 18, 1959, to Esther (Yoder) Coblentz of Kalona, Iowa and the late Daniel Coblentz. She married James J. Miller on June 5, 1982. He survives.

For 23 years, Rebecca owned Rebecca’s Bistro, which she used as a ministry of hospitality and serving others through food, warmth, and welcome. Her desire was always to make people feel seen and cared for. Outside of her restaurant, she was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished Grammy to her family and cared for them deeply and selflessly. Her deep faith in Jesus Christ was the source of her strength and the foundation of her servant’s heart. She was an active member of Mercy Hill Church in Berlin.

In addition to her husband Jim, she is survived by her sons Chris (Becky) Miller of Sugarcreek and Kyle (Kendra) Miller of Berlin; two granddaughters Lilly Miller and Mya Miller; and her siblings Karla (Zendall) Gingerich of Ohio, Al (Karla) Coblentz of Iowa, Glenn (Viola) Coblentz of Ohio, and Norvin (Mary) Coblentz of Iowa.

She is preceded in death by her father.

Memorial Celebration of Life Services will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at 10:30 am at the Amish Country Theater in Berlin with Pastor Erik Miller officiating. Private family burial will be at Walnut Creek Mennonite Church Cemetery prior to services. Friends may call on Monday 4-7 PM and Tuesday 11 AM-2 PM and 5-7 PM all at Mercy Hill Church in Berlin.
