The Dover Public Library will have Titanic memorabilia and artwork by a local artist displayed for the month of April.

The public is invited to remember the legacy of the RMS Titanic in commemoration of the 112th anniversary of the disaster in which 1,517 individuals passed. The display cases feature items donated by local Titanic enthusiast Brian Morgan.

The items include actual tile from the first class smoking room, an authentic White Star Line China Plate, and an autographed screenplay for James Cameron’s 1997 film “Titanic.”

Artwork by local artist Deb Walker can be viewed in the Community Room Art Gallery. Walker expresses her resilience in her struggles with depression through watercolor, acrylic, and mixed media pieces.

The Dover Public Library is located at 525 N Walnut Street, across from Dover High School.
