Nick McWilliams reporting – The annual Lincoln Day Dinner, hosted by the Tuscarawas County Republican Party, will host the head of the Ohio Supreme Court.
Chief Justice Sharon Kennedy will join party members from Tuscarawas County and the state for the dinner and presentation at The Tool Shed at Breitenbach Winery in Sugarcreek on April 25th.
Kennedy joined the state Supreme Court as an associate justice in 2012 after being elected to fill an unexpired term. Prior to that, she served in the Butler County Court of Common Pleas, Domestic Relations Division, starting in 1999.
Her start in the justice system came as a police officer at the Hamilton Police Department.
Newly elected Chairman of the Ohio Republican Party Alex Triantafilou will also present during the event.
Tickets for the event are $75 each, or $135 for couples, and reservations can be requested online at www.tuscrepublicanparty.com or by emailing hq@tuscrepublicanparty.com. All reservations must be submitted by April 18th.
