Road enhancements will start this Thursday in the City of New Philadelphia through the Ohio Department of Transportation.
Weather permitting, crews will set up to begin a resurfacing on Wabash Avenue, Ray Avenue, Mill Avenue, and Stonecreek Road.
ODOT District 11 Public Information Officer Lauren Borell says that traffic will be maintained with flaggers and motorists are encouraged to pay attention in work zones.
“With that being some heavily traveled areas within the city we remind folks to allow some extra time for travel and of course, look for those folks out their working and especially pay attention and give them room to work safely out there.’
Work is set for completion by October 31st.
