Richard Arden Hill, 71, of Kimbolton, passed away on December 3, 2023, in Select Specialty Hospital, Newark. He was born January 25, 1952, in Kimbolton, to the late Burris “Red” and Wilma (Phillips) Hill.
Richard graduated from Cambridge High School in 1970. Richard was a U.S. Army Veteran serving from 1972 – 1974. He briefly worked for Landmark and then drove truck for many years. Richard loved his family and spending time with his grandkids. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion of Newcomerstown.
On June 12, 1970, he married Julia “Judy” (Huprich) Hill who survives. He is also survived by his children, Anthony “Tony” Hill, Terry Hill (Melissa Beal), Tamara (Matt) Elliott; grandchildren, Anthony and Nathan Hill, Alex, Shyer and Khyler Elliott, Lillian and Ashton Hill; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Frances (Donald) Marks, and Helen Ballanger. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Max Ballanger.
There will be a memorial service at a later date.
