Ricki A. Mack, age 61, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away unexpectedly on February 9, 2023, in Cape Coral, Florida.

Born in Uhrichsville, Ohio on March 22, 1961, he was the son of the late Bob (Bonnie) and Della Mack.

Rick worked at Superior Clay in Uhrichsville, Ohio prior to relocating to Florida. He was a member of the Cape Christian Church of Cape Coral, Florida and in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, spent countless hours volunteering in his community in various capacities and found that he loved serving others as he continued to volunteer at the church and within his community.

Rick was a hard-working individual who had the ability to fix anything and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He had a beautiful spirit, a contagious smile, and enjoyed making people laugh. 

When not helping others, Rick enjoyed spending time on the water fishing, boating, bike riding, and taking family vacations. Upon retiring in March 2022, he started two new hobbies that included kayaking and paddle boarding.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Mack, whom he married on March 21, 1998.  His stepchildren, Jason (Shanda) Mushrush, Mike (Denise) Phillips, Jr., Andrea (Kevin) Keenan; grandchildren, Joseph and Cambri Mushrush and Benjamin Keenan; brothers and sisters, Sherri (Kevin) Mehok, Lori (Keith) Heil, Tammi (Barry) Hursey; stepsister and stepbrother, Tamara (Jim) Angelo; a special niece, Jessica Carr and numerous other nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his brother, David Mack, and a stepbrother, William Gunn.

The family will host a celebration of life on Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 2:00-4:00 pm In the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.
