Robert Dirk Rothenstein, 15, of Newcomerstown, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at his home. He was born September 19, 2007 in Dover, to Robert Cody and Shannon Marie (Watson) Rothenstein. Dirk was a sweet, loving, and funny boy. He loved his family, video games, and making people laugh. He was an amazing student at Newcomerstown High School and loved school immensely. He even talked about wanting to become a computer tech. He had so many aspirations in life and was loved by so many.
In addition to his parents, Dirk is survived by his siblings, Alissa, Kylee and Ethan Casteel; grandmother, Candace Watson; Aunt Victoria North, Aunt Kelly Watson; Uncle Shawn Armstrong; and many cousins and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Douglas Eric Watson; grandmother, Virginia Joeann Heston; and grandfather, Robert Eugene Rothenstein.
Services will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown with Pastor Carl Cutlip officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 12 to 2 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
