Robert F. Graham, 84, of Park Village Independent Living and who had lived in Sugarcreek for 13 years prior to moving to Dover, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Truman House in New Philadelphia following a period of declining health.
He was born in Canton to the late Albert and Nina (Hankison) Graham and resided in Canton for 69 years. He married Beverly (Blosser) McCall in 2009. She survives.
He was a 1957 graduate of Canton Lincoln High School and a 1974 graduate of the University of Akron. He served in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1962. He worked as a technical illustrator for a number of N.E. Ohio Companies. He was a member of the Broadway Global Methodist Church in New Philadelphia and was founder of the Akron Canton Scottish Heritage Association. He enjoyed painting and was a member of the Canton Artist League and the Tuscarawas Artists Guild.
In addition to his wife, Beverly, he is survived by his son, Glenn (Gina) Graham of Grove City and daughter, Gloria (Roy) Hodges of California, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Stanley Graham of Salem.
Services, Celebrating the Life of Robert, will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek with Pastor Harley Wheeler officiating. Private burial will take place in North Lawn Cemetery in Canton. Friends may call on Saturday from 12 (Noon) to 1 PM at the funeral home prior to services.
