Robert Frederick Richardson, Jr., 68, of Dennison, passed away at his home on Friday, September 8, 2023, following some health challenges. Born November 29, 1954 in Dennison, he was a son of Eunice E. (Walker) Richardson Smith of Tuscarawas and the late Robert Frederick Richardson, Sr.
A lifelong area resident, Robbie was a 1973 graduate of Claymont High School. He enjoyed a long career as a truck driver and was proud to be the owner and operator of his own trucks over the years, continuing until his recent health issues prevented him. He was a member of the Uhrichsville Eagles and the Uhrichsville Moose. Robbie loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and driving his Corvettes.
In addition to his mother, Eunice Smith, Robbie will be mourned by his son, Johnny Aldergate; longtime loving companion, Lori Frantz and her son, Chad Frantz; siblings, Tommy (Ginny) Richardson and Tina and Greg Simmers; nephew, Ryan (fiancée, Olivia) Simmers; and his beloved grandson, Zane Frantz who he always called “his little guy” and his mother. Zane will really miss his “Papa” as they had shared a special bond.
According to Robbie’s wishes, cremation is planned. His family will celebrate his life privately.
