Ron Cleek, 75, of New Philadelphia, passed away on June 29, 2024, at Akron General Cleveland Clinic. He was born in Grundy, Virginia on September 13, 1948, to the late John Clifford and Edith Martha (Hall) Cleek. He is also preceded in death by many dear siblings.
Ron was a truck driver for Ergon. He will always be remembered for his knowledge of American history, debating politics, love of old western TV shows such as Gunsmoke and oldie country music. He enjoyed watching football, playing cards, horses and Jesus. Ron was a member of Uhrichsville and Dover Eagles.
He is survived by his wife, Merry Ann (Keffer) Cleek, whom he married December 19, 2009; daughter, Tiffany (Quinn) Angel; stepson, Benjamin Briggs; grandchildren, Klaye, Elli, Annabella, Remington, and Linken; a sister, Rita (Joe) Saben; and numerous nieces and nephews.
