Ronald Lee VanMeter, 44, of Alliance passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022 at the Alliance Group Home.
Born in Canton on December 6, 1977, he was the son of the late Judythe L. “Judy” (Murphy) Van Meter. His mother preceded him in death on September 12, 2018.
Ronald enjoyed holidays and Sunday family dinners with his family. His favorites were BBQ Ribs and sweet tea.
Ronald was survived by his aunts; Betty Lanzer of Stone Creek, and Pam Myers of New Philadelphia, along with numerous cousins.
His family would like to express their appreciation for the care that he received while living at the Alliance Group Home.
Friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory of Dover on Friday, September 2, 2022, from 10:00-11:00 am. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 with Pastor Dave VonDonge offciating. Burial will follow next to his mother at Stone Creek Cemetery.
