Rose “Rosie” Bostwick Heacock, of West Lafayette, Ohio, age 76, passed away among family on June 2, 2023, after a sudden illness. She will be greatly missed.
 
She was born in Kimbolton, Ohio to the late Francis & Florence Bostwick. In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Tom Heacock, her great-grandson, Kaden Smith, and her niece, Jennifer DeSantis.
 
Rosie graduated in 1964 from Lincoln High School in Canton and lived in Canton for the majority of her life before moving to West Lafayette in 2016. She loved her pets, dancing & singing, and her flower garden. She loved to sit on her porch every night to watch the deer in the field and the sunsets. She was very proud of her pies, which were absolutely delicious. She also fiercely loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
 
Rosie is survived by her two daughters & sons-in-law: Dana & Tom Harold and Gina & Tim Smith; her sister, Nada Hershberger; her best friend of 51 years, Becky Hughes; foster daughter, Amy Franklin; Grandchildren: Natalie & Greg, Justin & Janel, Leah & Jason, Christopher & Kelsey, Jacob & Jade, Zachary, Matthew, and Baylee; Great-grandchildren: Hailey, Jackson, Carly, Freddie, Joshua, Kinsley, Nolan, and Gracie; Nieces: Julie Bryant, Cindie Galloway, and Sandi Pecaut; and Nephews: Tom Snyder and Karl Hershberger.
 
A private memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, we ask that memorials be made in Rosie’s name to:
