Run for Home organizers are celebrating another successful race weekend.

Director Matt Ritzert says more than 500 runners participated for Saturday’s 5 and 10k races and Sunday’s half marathon and team relay events, despite the weather.

This was a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity of East Central Ohio.

The top finishers for the half marathon was Megan O’Neil of Michigan finishing in a time of 1 hour 17 minutes and 18 seconds, which set a new course record for the ladies.

On the men’s side, Isreal Merkle of Akron finished in a time of 1 hour 12 minutes and 30 seconds.
