Sandra Chance, 60, of Gnadenhutten died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, due to complications of Covid-19. 

She was born in Ansbach, Germany on December 6, 1960, to the late Stanley E. and Ilse Elenore (Huber) Chance. Sandra was a graduate of Indian Valley South and also Buckeye JVS in 1979. She worked as a meat cutter at Ross’ Market Basket in Uhrichsville, before going to work for the former Catalyst Systems Inc. of Gnadenhutten, now Sherwin-Williams of Massillon, where she was currently employed. 

Sandra enjoyed spending time with her neighborhood friends on Maple Street and locally as well as her brother who lives in Cleveland. She was very passionate about her dog Cooper, who meant everything to her. 

Surviving is a brother Michael (Ronald Johnson) Chance of Cleveland, cousins Debbie (Joe) Gray of Fry’s Valley and David (Karen) Frey of Gnadenhutten, many extended family members in Germany and Oklahoma, and her beloved dog Cooper.

Along with her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by a special Aunt Inge and Uncle Dick Frey.
