Sandra “Kay” Locker, 82, of Bolivar passed away peacefully in Hennis Care Center at Bolivar on August 12, 2025.
Born in Dover on July 12, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Robert A. and Marjorie I. (Addy) Mizer.
Kay was a 1961 graduate of Tuscarawas Valley High School. She worked for 14 years with Whitmeyer Advertising prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Bolivar United Methodist Church and Red Hat Society.
Kay is survived by her daughter, Heather (Jeff) Gates of Bolivar; grandchildren, Todd Locker, Jr., Drew Locker and Hayley Gates; daughter-in-law, Kelly Locker; and sisters, Lynn Rootring and Connie Burris.
In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in passing by her son, Todd Locker; and brothers, Robert A Mizer, Jr. and James Mizer.
Cremation care has been entrusted to Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory and private inurnment will be held in Ft. Laurens Cemetery at Bolivar.
