Sandra L. (Dunlap) Everett, 63, of rural Gnadenhutten died early Tuesday morning of July 12, 2022, in Trinity Hospital Twin City ER following a period of declining health.

She was born in Twin City hospital on September 24, 1958, to the late Richard and Ruth (Warnok) Dunlap. Sandra graduated from Claymont High School in 1976 and then earned three different Bachelor of Science Degrees from Kent State University in Education, Criminal Justice, and Social Work.

On July 9, 1981, Sandra married Wendell Everett, with whom she spent 41 years together. The two of them raised four children, whom she homeschooled and coached in Bible Quiz. The kids made it to Bible Quiz Nationals multiple times throughout the years participating. Sandra was also an avid reader. She normally had a book to read in every room of the house and was reading all of them.

Surviving is her husband Wendell, her four children: Neil (Sarah) Everett of Pataskala, Eric (Melissa) Everett of Uhrichsville, Lisa Everett of Westerville, and Ethan Everett of Gnadenhutten; three grandchildren: Mackenzie, Jacob, and Eliza; and three sisters: Karen Dunlap of Canton, Jill Roth of Dennison, and Susan Dunlap of North Carolina.

Along with her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Joy.

There will be no immediate services for Sandra at this time. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
