Sandra Lee Sampson, age 77, of New Philadelphia, O., passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022, at the Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia, O.
Born May 29, 1945, in Strattanville, PA, Sandra is the daughter of the late Shirley Maryln Girts.
Sandra was a homemaker and a member of the Dover Eagles 515 and a life member of Belmont Hunting and Fishing Club. She enjoyed fishing and collecting Indian items and she loved yard sales. Sandra also raised money for St. Judes for 3 years.
Sandra is survived by her husband Charles Sampson of the home; her siblings Candi (Al) Bradshaw of Barnhill, Betty Ann Johnson of Franklin, PA, Kathey Tenney of Oil City, PA and Georgia Kay (Bob) Johnson of Tionesta, PA and her friend and aide Brenda Hidey.
In addition to her mother, Sandra is preceded in death by her son James Riker Harris; daughter Melissa Ann Lerch and brother Tom Johnson.
Memorial services for Sandra will be held at 8 p.m., on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. at Uhrichsville, with the Rev. Mark Unrue officiating. Burial will take place at Union Cemetery in Uhrichsville.
Calling hours will be from 7 to 8, (one hour prior to services) on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at the funeral home.
