The Ohio District 13 Science Day competition will include middle school and high school students from Carroll, Stark and Tuscarawas counties.

The event will be held, March 9th, at Kent State University at Tuscarawas as young scientists share their knowledge and passion.

Over twenty students are currently registered for the event in the following categories: Animal Science, Behavioral and Social Science, Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Engineering Mechanics, Material Science, Physics, and Plant Science.

Through participation, students can qualify for State Science Day and the opportunity to compete for nearly $400,000 in scholarships and awards.
