Scott Corey Edwards – February 23, 2022

Scott Corey Edwards, 59 years old, of Bolivar, Ohio passed away on February 23, 2022, at his home in Bolivar, Ohio.

Visitation will be on Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Lebold-Smith Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 28 at NewPointe Community Church in Dover, Ohio with his children officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Laurens Cemetery in Bolivar, Ohio. Arrangements are by Lebold-Smith Funeral Home.

Scott was born in Dover, Ohio to Clair Edwards and Janice Cory on April 27, 1962.

Scott went to Tuscarawas Valley High School. After finishing high school Scott enlisted in the Army National Guard where he served for six years. After serving his country, Scott returned to Bolivar to work with the family business, Carolina Stair Supply, and later went on to co-own the business. Scott married Jessie Adamson on November 12, 1988, in Zoar, Ohio. Scott was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Scott was a strong follower of Christ and attended NewPointe Community Church. He was beloved by all his many friends, and never met a stranger. Scott was best known for his friendliness, his storytelling and jokes, and his enthusiasm for life. He also enjoyed seeing new movies, riding four-wheelers and motorcycles, traveling in his RV, and spending time at his land in Sherrodsville, Ohio.

Scott was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Cory and his grandson, Beau Eric Corey Edwards.

Scott is survived by his wife, Jessie Edwards. His children Clayton (Caitlin) Edwards, Garrett (Ashley) Edwards, Blaine (Kelsey) Edwards, Brett Edwards, and Josie Edwards. His father Clair Edwards (Bev). His brothers Kevin (Jean), Jeff, and Matt (Tina). His grandchildren Clark Edwards (Clayton), August, Judah, and Sophia Edwards (Garrett), Gracelynn, Emmalynn, Colton, Coralynn, Jessalynn, and Vera Edwards (Blaine).

Pallbearers will be Greg McIntyre, Jan McInturf, Steve Stokey, Kavin Ogg, Randy Harper, and Scott Pipes.
