The Tuscarawas Arts Partnership unveiled the second phase of their LoveTusc unveiling at the Kent State Tuscarawas Performing Arts Center.

Sculptures shown Thursday evening included Baltic, Gnadenhutten, Kent State Tuscarawas, Midvale, Mineral City, Norma Johnson Center, Ragersville, Tuscarawas, Uhrichsville, and Zoar.

Executive Director Wilma Mullet said the project is only 10% away from being fully funded.

“We were short of our goal by about $15,000 out of $159,000, so I’d say for the effort that every person has put into it, I’m very proud of them because it has been a huge collective of planning a public arts series for Tuscarawas County and now it’s going to be a gift for our community that we get to enjoy time and time again.”

The communities left that have not reached their goal includes Baltic, Gnadenhutten, Ragersville, and Roswell. Donations can be made to one or multiple communities, and does not require the donor to live in the area.

To donate, visit www.tuscarawasartspartnership.org/lovetusc-project.

A LoveTusc Scavenger Hunt will be ongoing throughout the summer, where the public is challenged to visit each area and take pictures of the sculptures.
